Q: Do you facilitate retreats, meetings and strategic planning sessions just in Colorado?
A: I also serve groups all over North America and would be happy to discuss supporting you at an overseas meeting as well.
Q: Will you do a half day facilitation, multi-day planning sessions or work over a weekend?
A: Yes
Q: What do you charge?
A: Facilitation fees are negotiable and competitive and depend on the scope of work. When we talk, we'll work out a reasonable rate.
Q: Do you have a standard process you follow in preparation for a strategic planning session?
A: Yes. I interview team or board members before our session and provide a pre-work assessment to spot areas of strength, weakness, threats and opportunities. The process I use in the session will depend on your goals and time constraints.

The Corporate Board of Newborn Hope held its annual Retreat in February this year and Laura Benjamin facilitated the day. She was a last-minute "emergency" fill-in as the scheduled facilitator was ill. Laura was at-ease and comfortable working with a large board of "professional" volunteers. She used her C.A.R.L.A. Concept™ from her book and the DISC personality profiles to draw members together and help them to know each other better in a non-threatening atmosphere. All of this was accomplished with very little pre-planning. The profiles were such a success I've made copies of them for each Board member to access throughout their term. As a result of using Laura, our Board is ready top move forward as a unified body and accomplish the goals we set forth during the Retreat.
