Sexual Harassment Training, August 2006

Laura, I can't believe that I'm just now following up on your wonderful presentation to our employees on August 25, 2006.  I had intended to send you this note right after the meeting, but time kept getting away from me.

Your presentation on sexual harassment continues to receive positive feedback from those in attendance.  I know they, and I, appreciated the lively and inviting way in which you addressed a subject that is typically dry and tedious.  Your information was right on target and was delivered in such a way that I know it will be remembered.  It takes great skill to deliver this kind of information in an engaging and entertaining way without losing the importance of the message. Thank you for sharing your speaking skills and vibrant personality with us our annual employee meeting.

You know, with success comes a price.  I know we will be knocking on your door in the future with opportunities to again share your expertise and boundless energy!

With gratitude,
Terri Sortor
Human Resource Manager
Diocese of Colorado Springs

Dear Laura,

We would like to thank you for your facilitation of the Conflict Lens Instrument last month. Not only did we find the personal information helpful, but we could also see its applicability in our conflict management efforts in the Diocese.

Your facilitation skills and the way that you introduced and explained the tool demonstrated your personal knowledge of – and commitment to – the process. You made it very easy to understand, and provided an opportunity for us to gain additional insights into our own conflict management styles. It was apparent from the way you handled our questions that you are comfortable with the wide spectrum of issues that swirl around conflict. This is a rare gift.

Additionally, your willingness to interject your own experiences of personal conflict made the process relevant to our own lives. We know that anyone who experiences this tool and your facilitation will gain many insights and additional skills with which to address conflict in their personal and professional lives.

Thanks again for sharing your expertise with us.

Sincerely,
Terri Sortor, Human Resource Manager

Dear Laura,

Thank you so much for your graciousness in speaking to the employees of The Diocese of Colorado Springs earlier this month. Your presentation about making a positive impression, and being professional when using the telephone, was very informative, entertaining, and appreciated by all. It is not often that we are able to obtain the services of professional trainers, such as yourself, to provide our employees with such a high quality training opportunity.

I personally appreciated your professionalism and attention to detail while planning this event. I wish you continued success in all your endeavors, and hope another opportunity arises for you to share your talent and expertise with us again.

Sincerely,
Terri Sortor
Human Resource Manager

Good morning Laura, I am sending you our feedback sheets from last Friday's Diocesan Employee Day. As you can see, the response was overwhelmingly favorable, plus I have heard nothing but positive verbal responses since Friday. Thank you again for your wonderful presentation!
