U.S. Army at Fort Lewis WA Testimonial for Professional Speaker, Laura Benjamin
Ms. Laura Benjamin was our Keynote Speaker for our Annual Women's Conference at Ft. Lewis, Washington in March of 2003. Our Commanding General's wife, Mrs. Vivian Soriano, gave us her name. Mrs. Soriano knew Laura from Fort Carson, Colorado and previous speaking engagements there.
We found Laura to be very professional and easy to work with. She was extremely receptive to gearing her message to the needs of our audience. As this conference was held in the Spring of 2003, we were facing war with Iraq and many in the audience had husbands and family members who were already deployed. Laura's message, "Resilience in Difficult Times", hit right on the mark. She was upbeat and challenging at the same time. Her easy style set a very positive mood for our conference.
