Words cannot truly express what a valuable experience your Leadership and Management Development training was for Pikes Peak United Way. While we are quite proud of the culture and competency that exists within Pikes Peak United Way, you were able to bring a renewed spirit to the team. You aligned your session with our own core values and made the event a fun reminder of the hard work it takes to truly be (and keep!) a high performance team.
I particularly appreciated the discussion on candor. While my communication with my management is not for want of this, I have found it difficult to bring this honest, respectful communication to my subordinates, as I have feared being “too mean” in my delivery. I have since been working on this particular aspect of my management style, and have found it to be a skill that simply needed to be developed and practiced. And the communications within my team have become stronger because of it!
Since the workshop, I have also read your book, The C.A.R.L.A Concept. What a grand read. The simplicity of C.A.R.L.A. is one that can be kept in the forefront of my decision-making process.

Thank you so much for the coaching you gave to the Finance Team at Pikes Peak United Way yesterday. The material that we were covering in our presentation can be dry and difficult to understand. We incorporated most of your suggestions into our presentation and ended up with a much livelier, more interesting presentation.
This morning we gave our first presentation. We felt relaxed and confident as presenters. The comments from participants after our presentation were all positive and enthusiastic.
